CONTINUING TO IMPROVE HETTLING PARK
Our town has the beginnings of a dynamic town center: Hettling Park. We will work with the park committee to continue building a park that serves everyone in this community with athletics, picnic areas, trails, and a playground. We will win funding to implement this plan and encourage community use of this new public space.

PROTECTING AGRICULTURE
Agriculture is the foundation of Clermont. As town board members, we will work with farmers to develop a roadmap to keep Clermont’s farm’s in business. There are challenging times for many Hudson Valley farms, but our town can make a difference.

BACKING INDEPENDENT BUSINESS
With a winery, distillery, farm store, cafe and more, Clermont has become an exciting destination. As Town Board members we will support the success of these growing businesses.

TOWN PLANNING AND CLIMATE RESILIENCY
The town needs a new comprehensive plan. As Town Board Members, we will update the plan to protect the character of our community, and ensure we are ready for new development and climate impacts.
